The Unity Awards will be held at the Hartke Theater on the Catholic University campus in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 26, 2002.
This year we will be staying at an UCMVA sponsor, the Hilton Washington located at 1919 Connecticut Ave., Washington, D.C. They are providing a special reduced room rate for UCMVA members. There are a limited number of rooms which are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Reservations are due by mid-August. Please contact the UCMVA at 877-66-UCVMA for rates and more information. (Sorry, all appointed rooms have been sold out.)

"Making the Best of a Love Offering" Presentation
Julie Carrick will be giving a presentation to fellow Catholic Artists on Friday evening after the opening Mass at the Hilton Washington Hotel. This workshop is geared toward helping up and coming artists learn - how to schedule concerts, how to properly promote each one, tools for filling the house, and how to get the most out of a "love offering" event. It will be a short presentation, so it will have a lot of material packed into a very small time frame. In addition, there will be a great surprise for all who attend!
